I Need to Borrow a Baby

Last week when mom went to visit granny, she wanted to know if mom was married. Mom isn't but she has been in a relationship for a very long time. She decided it was best to just say yes than to try and explain the whys and why nots to granny.

So granny wants to know when she is going to have a baby. Mom tells her she isn't going to have a baby. Granny gets sad and exclaims, "But I want to hold a baby!" So now I am on the hunt for someone that has a baby that I can borrow so granny can hold one.

My daughter, "B" has a friend with a 16 month old. That is a good age, not too little and not too big. Right now he is sick so I have put in my request when he gets well.

I think this would really lift all our spirits now considering all that is going on. Now that I think about it, I think all 3 of us need to hold a baby right about now. So maybe I can find 3 babies and we can have a hen and chick session to brighten our day up!

nothing more comforting than holding a baby for sure! I hope you can find a little one for your grandmother (and you/mom) to love on

I volunteered in our church nursery when we lived in Montana and during that particular season on our lives it was very rough; I treasured Wednesdays in the nursery because you could just get "lost" holding a baby and enjoying them; your troubles went away for just a bit as you marveled on God's creation :)
